Welcome to my railway photography site, i aim to give a snapshot of my travels around the UK as well as showcasing some superb nostalgia pics from others:

I have reorganised all collections by location to help people searching for inspiration and views of specific places. New pictures are placed in a *New* file for a couple of weeks before being moved to the appropriate collection.
I currently use both a Canon 5D II & Canon EOS 3 though i find that more and more i am becoming digi only. All slides pre 2004 were taken using a Canon A1 & Digi 2007 - Apr 2009 were taken on a Canon 400D.
I have used various films from Kodak K64 & 200, Fujichrome Sensia and now Fujichrome Provia 100. The scanning is undertaken on a Nikon Coolscan V ED with all processing completed using Photoshop CS2/CS4.

I am currently working on re-processing my digital images from 2007 and 2008 (better quality and larger 1150 size). When complete i will be re-scanning and prcessing slides from before 2007 (better scanning resolution / quality and larger). The way it's going this will take me about 10 years.............
